The coaches' room

In 2010 I found myself on a pitch in the United States, coaching American youth players. I was an unexperienced coach but I was surrounded by the best Dutch academy coaches.

As a young coach I sat in a coaches room that was full of knowledge. Watching and sharing knowledge with elite coaches speeded up my development. 

I learned that in the coaches room coaches can talk freely. It is the place where you meet your colleagues, where you share ideas and where coaches develop together. 

This is the idea behind The coaches’ room. With this platform our mission is to help coaches develop. 

We do this by:

1. Hosting a podcast called Inside the coaches’ room
2. Producing Webinars 
3. Organizing coach education events

The coaches’ room is founded in 2020 by at the start of the pandemic. At first it was called Football Webinars, which was later changed to The coaches’ room in 2022.
